Be Better Tomorrow

You probably think that you’ll read about self-improvement day by day, right? This is quite the opposite.

For a long time, I was on a hamster wheel of “getting better” every day, always pushing to improve for tomorrow. But I realized something: if you constantly need to be better tomorrow, then there’s this subtle message that today isn’t good enough. This endless chase for a “better version” leaves you running toward a finish line that never really arrives.

What changed for me was learning to accept myself right now—this moment, this version, these strengths, these flaws. Every aspect of who I am today is the outcome of past choices, decisions, and experiences. When I accepted that, it felt freeing. I didn’t have to constantly escape who I am; I could simply recognize it as a foundation to build on.

From that place of acceptance, growth feels different. Instead of being a task or a measurement, it’s something I can feel excited about because I’m building on a strong, peaceful base, not running from a sense of lack. I can still strive, but with the understanding that I’m already whole as I am.

If you’re in a cycle of never feeling “enough,” try practicing self-acceptance in small ways. Remember, acknowledging where you are now isn’t settling—it’s honouring your journey. That inner peace you’ll gain will create a sense of possibility and a more fulfilling path forward.

Warmly,
Arnolds.
